We made it!

Thanks to all of you who contributed to this year’s Beacon Campaign. I’m excited to announce that we exceeded our goal of $40,000. A special thanks goes to our ministry partners that matched every dollar given to this year‘s campaign. Because of your generosity, there was a faithful voice in Augusta advocating for religious freedom, the sanctity of human life, and Biblical values.

Family Leader Summit

This past week, I had the privilege of attending the Family Leader Summit in Iowa, the Midwest’s largest gathering of socially conservative evangelical Christians. I was asked to serve on a panel to discuss our involvement with the Church Ambassador Network.

Click the picture above to watch this panel discussion. For those of you who are not familiar with CAN, start at the beginning, but for those of you who are, you can skip to marker 11:00.

I certainly was surprised when I started receiving text messages from people back here in Maine wondering what I was doing on Fox TV. I was not aware that Fox News ran this panel discussion this past Sunday morning. A point of clarification: Bob Vander Plaats, the summit host, states in the interview that I am moving out of the executive director’s position here at the Christian Civic League. In fact, we are actually restructuring the executive director’s position so I can lead our Church Ambassador Network. Please pray for us as we move forward in this direction.
