Our National Day of Prayer Is Today

As people across America are invited to pray for our nation and the world, the theme for this year’s NDP is “Lord, Pour Out Your Love, Life, and Liberty.”  Click here to go to NDP’s website.

Beginning in 1952, the National Day of Prayer (NDP) was established as an annual event, by President Harry Truman. In 1988 President Ronald Regan designated it to fall on the first Thursday in May. Click the video below to see my interview with the Northeast Director of NDP, Robin McLaughlin.

Heavy Legislative Activity

Today, there are seven public hearings on legislation we are supporting; three regarding transgender policies as they relate to women’s shelters and women’s sports. There are four bills we are supporting pertaining to mandated vaccines. Click here to see our recent email telling you how to offer written and online testimony for these bills.

Even though we are facing restrictions due to the pandemic, we are still willing to serve your ministry by speaking in person or recording services for you. If you are interested in the League helping out with your pulpit needs, contact Carroll at carroll.conley@gmail.com
