Great Response

Thanks to all of you who responded to our request to let us know you are willing to be available to testify at upcoming public hearings. We will need testifiers who are willing to leverage their voice (in writing or on-line) for the sanctity of life, religious freedom, parental rights, and Biblical values. To be included in this list of rapid responders, contact our policy director, Mike McClellan at cclmainepolicy@gmail.com.

Beacon Campaign Update

We are $9,000 short of our goal of $40,000 for our Beacon Campaign. Don’t forget, we have a matching grant that doubles every dollar you donate to this campaign that funds our lobbying activities. Click here to give today and double your gift.

Spread the Word

One of our great allies has a couple of staffing needs we want to bring to the attention of Maine’s pro-life community. The Shepherd God Parent Home [SGPH] (Bangor) needs a qualified woman to serve as a permanent live-in house mother for their new facility.  Basic qualifications include being a born-again believer in Christ with a Biblical world view, a love for women usually with crisis pregnancies, and strong leadership skills and experience.  The facilities allow for a mature couple to live at the home if they have no children in their care.  Competitive salary, benefits, room and board are included with employment.

The SGPH also needs weekend house mothers to allow for rest weekends for their staff with similar qualifications.  Likewise, these positions are compensated and provide weekend room and board. These are exciting opportunities and the greatest benefit of working with these hurting ladies is seeing God move daily in changing lives and meeting needs.
