A Busy Day in Aroostook
This past Tuesday, I had the privilege to introduce two great pro-life senate candidates to pastors and other networkers from Fort Kent to Houlton. I am so thankful we have such great candidates in the key races of Senate District 1, Brian Schaefer; and Senate District 2, Rep. Trey Stewart. Those who attended the four gatherings we organized were impressed with how tirelessly Brian and Trey are campaigning, but more importantly, they recognized that both of these men will be champions of the sanctity of life and religious freedom.
Your support of the League allows us to be a positive influence in critical races like these two Aroostook County Senate campaigns all over Maine. Expenses for one day of support for these candidates was over $500.
Special thanks to Pastor Mike Hood (Caribou Assembly of God), Pastor Mark Babin (Celebration Center, Fort Fairfield), Pastor Bud Fancy (Framework Church, Presque Isle), and Pastor Randall Burns (Military Street Baptist Church, Houlton) for hosting these informative events.
Volunteers Needed
Are you willing to do what it takes to give men and women who will defend our values a chance to win? In order for the League to be a positive force in this fall’s elections and execute our get-out-the- vote campaign and other election activities, we need volunteers. Click here to let us know you want to make a difference.
Pews to the Polls
We will need over $100,000 to be effective between now and Election Day. The costs of researching, designing, printing, promoting, and distributing our state and federal voter guides will likely surpass $60,000. Our direct mail, phone calls, and testing campaigns will require at least another $30,000. Click here to donate to the Pews the Polls campaign to make sure we have the resources necessary get pro-life Mainers to show up and vote their values.
