Volunteers Needed

It’s one thing to be inconvenienced or agitated about the decisions our elected officials are making, and it is certainly understandable to be worried about the future when we see the unrest and division across America, but frustration and anxiety alone will do nothing to bring about the necessary change here in Maine and in our county. Action on our part does not guarantee change, but inaction on our part does guarantee more of the same.

Over the last year, I’ve heard a lot of complaints about the assaults upon parental rights, freedom of religion, and the sanctity of life. My question is, “What are you willing to do about it?”

There are men and women who are running for state and federal office who need our help. They will not get elected and have the chance to defend our freedoms unless we invest in their campaigns. We are not claiming these candidates are perfect, but there are many political allies who are worthy of our support against those who are pushing an agenda of big government that intends to dominate every part of our lives.

The League is asking you to volunteer to help us promote candidates that we believe will make a positive difference in our state.  We need people who will make phone calls, enter data, deliver voter guides, and other tasks as the elections approach.  Click here to sign up as a volunteer. We are developing a new database to keep in touch with our volunteers on a monthly basis. So even if you have signed up in the past, please click here to sign up today.

Pews to the Polls

We need financial resources to research, print, and distribute our voter guides.  Click here to make a tax-deductible donation to our Pews to the Polls project, which includes our voter guides and get-out-the -vote campaigns.
