Dear Friend,We are just days away from one of the most important elections of our generation. It is our time to “act” and to “speak.” In addition to voting for candidates who will promote and defend biblical values, it is imperative we all leverage our influence with our friends, family, and coworkers in these last few days before the election.I urge you to promote our voter guides personally in your private conversations and on social media, where possible. Go to cclmaine.org and click on Voter Guides. There you can find voter guides for the state-wide races (Governor, US Senate, and Congress), guides for all State Senate and State House races and even a guide that will be customized according to your ZIP Code.Educate yourself with these resources. Promote them as much as you can. Make a plan to vote on Tuesday the 6th, and of course, PRAY! We’re trying something different this year with our annual fall events. Instead of banquets, we are scheduling events with just a program and no meal.
Attendees at this year’s events scheduled for November 17 at 1 PM and 7 PM will be entertained by George W. Bush impersonator extraordinaire, John Morgan. John is a talented, committed Christian performer whom I had the privilege of seeing at FRC’s, Value Voters Summit last fall. He is at the same time hilarious, inspiring, and provocative.
