Pro-Life Legislators Appreciation
On Wednesday, June 9th, the Christian Civic League, Maine Right to Life, and Concerned Women for America Maine invited our pro-life legislators to stop by for coffee and donuts before heading in to do the people’s work at the capitol. Other pro-life allies like First Choice Pregnancy Resource Center, Students for Life, and Precious Innocents were also there to welcome the many pro-life state representatives and state senators who stopped in. Please be in prayer for these leaders as we expect several bills dealing with the life issue, and other bills we have been tracking will be up for votes very soon. Welcome to the Team
We are excited to announce Thomas Keith joining the League team as a policy analyst. Thomas recently graduated from Patrick Henry College Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Government. Thomas is an avid debater and has won several national and regional competitions in debate and mock trials. He is an experienced researcher and gifted writer with several publicized works. In addition to strengthening our policy team, Thomas’ work with Sen. Marco Rubio’s team will also be helpful with our campaign efforts. Thomas is from Florida but has Maine roots with his grandparents residing in Yarmouth. He will join the League this fall when he finishes his present work as an Academic Affairs Assistant with the Home Schoolers Legal Defense Association.
